Sex therapy and sexual health
Most people know a lot about physical health, but we often don’t get the same education regarding our sexual health. Which can be problematic, as our sexual health often has a big impact on our well-being, relationships, and overall life satisfaction. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals and couples seeking to improve their sexual health and sexual relationships. In sex therapy, I help clients address a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to sexual performance issues, communication, address lack of sex education or sexual confidence, desire differences, affairs, and issues related to trauma or shame that get in the way of good, fulfilling sex.
My goal is to provide research-based education and techniques, that are adjusted to each person or couples’ unique needs. I use proven methods and friendly support to talk about sex, desires, trauma, and intimate connection. My therapy focuses on sexual health principles to increase consent, honesty, shared values, protection from harm and pleasure. My aim is to help you overcome difficulties, have better and more enjoyable sex, and feel closer and happier in your relationships.
Relationship structures and consensual nonmonogamy
Monogamy is a great way to structure a relationship, but it not the only way. Some couples are curious about opening up the relationship, or may identify as polyamorous, and need support in navigating changing dynamics or growing in relationship connections. I work with all relationship structures, and my goal is to help any relationship be healthy and ethical, be they monogamous or non-monogamous. I support individuals and couples in exploring what structures and agreements are wanted, what can work for the relationship, and what can take place in an honest, ethical, and consensual way that respects everyone involved.
